DoorVault collects information needed to operate a real estate asset management platform, support marketing pages, respond to leads, and protect accounts. We do not sell personal data.
Information We Collect
- Account information such as name, username, email address, password hash, authentication method, plan, and account settings.
- Portfolio data you choose to add, including properties, financial records, documents, tenants, managers, loans, insurance, entity records, and notes.
- Lead and newsletter data from demo requests, public tools, downloads, forms, replies, and email subscriptions.
- Usage and security data such as login activity, pages viewed, browser and device details, IP-derived approximate location, referrers, feature events, and fraud-prevention signals.
How We Use Information
- Provide, secure, maintain, and improve DoorVault.
- Generate portfolio analytics, document summaries, reports, reminders, and workflows.
- Send service emails such as verification, password, security, billing, Knox alerts, portfolio notifications, document notifications, and product-critical notices.
- Send product emails and newsletters when you create an account, submit a lead form, request a download, run a public analyzer, request a demo, or otherwise opt in. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
- Measure product and marketing performance, including optional analytics through Google Analytics and Meta Pixel after consent.
- Prevent abuse, enforce terms, respond to support requests, and comply with legal obligations.
Service Providers
DoorVault uses service providers for hosting, storage, analytics, email, payments, authentication, AI processing, monitoring, and connected cloud storage. These providers process information only as needed to support DoorVault. Key providers may include Google, Meta, Stripe, Cloudflare, Resend, Sentry, Anthropic, Dropbox, Microsoft, Apple, and hosting or database providers.
Google User Data
If you connect Google Drive or use Google sign-in, DoorVault uses Google user data only to provide the feature you enabled. We do not use Google Drive data for advertising, do not sell it, and do not let humans read it unless you give consent, it is needed for security, or law requires it. DoorVault follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements.
Cookies and Analytics
DoorVault uses essential cookies for authentication, security, session management, preferences, and fraud prevention. Optional analytics cookies and similar technologies help us understand usage and campaign performance. You can choose essential-only cookies from the banner. See the Cookie Notice for more detail.
Data Retention
We retain account and portfolio data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete personal data and portfolio records within 30 days unless we need to retain limited records for security, legal, billing, or fraud-prevention purposes. Aggregated or anonymized data may be retained when it does not identify you.
Your Choices
You can access, correct, export, or delete account information through DoorVault where available. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails through the unsubscribe link in those emails. To request help with privacy rights, contact [email protected].
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including HTTPS, access controls, password hashing, audit logging, and managed encrypted storage. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
DoorVault is not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted here and, when appropriate, sent by email or shown in the Service.
