A Chrome extension that pulls your PM owner portal into DoorVault. You sign in to Buildium, RentManager, or AppFolio the way you always do. DoorVault takes it from there, imports your properties, leases, tenants, transactions, and statements, and reconciles every PM payout against your bank feed.
DoorVault Connect bridges your property manager's owner portal and your DoorVault portfolio. Instead of waiting on monthly PDF statements, downloading CSVs, or paying someone to retype the numbers, the extension hands DoorVault the data your PM is already showing you in their owner portal.
Buildium, RentManager, and AppFolio are supported today. On the first sync, DoorVault pulls properties, units, leases, tenants, transactions, vendors, owner statements, and supporting documents into your account. On every sync after that, it pulls only what changed and reconciles each PM statement against the deposit on your bank feed so the numbers always match.
For investors using professional property managers, this replaces the monthly oversight ritual. The dashboard reflects what your PM is doing as soon as you ask for it, with statement-by-statement reconciliation already done.
Add the DoorVault Connect extension from the Chrome Web Store. One click, no separate account. The extension pins to your toolbar and only activates when you ask DoorVault to sync.
Open Buildium, RentManager, or AppFolio and sign in the way you always do. You sign in, not DoorVault. Your PM portal password never leaves your browser.
Inside DoorVault, choose how far back to import (this month, 3 months, 6 months, 12 months, YTD, or all data). Click Sync now. The extension hands DoorVault the active portal session and the import begins.
Properties, leases, tenants, transactions, vendors, and statements land in your account, mapped to your existing portfolio. As each PM statement imports it auto-reconciles against the matching deposit on your bank feed.
DoorVault tracks your PM payout from both sides. The deposit on your bank feed is the gross amount that hit your account. The PM statement breaks that deposit into rent collected, expenses paid, management fees, and reserves held back. Most investors only see one side or the other.
When DoorVault Connect imports a PM statement it finds the matching bank deposit, attaches the statement, and corrects every estimated split to the actual numbers from the statement. Variance is recomputed automatically. Knox surfaces any deposit that didn't match a statement, and any statement total that didn't match a deposit, so you can see the gap before your PM does.
Properties, units, leases, tenants, transactions, vendors, work orders, and owner statements all land in DoorVault on the first sync, mapped to your existing portfolio.
Every imported PM statement is matched to the bank deposit it explains. Estimated splits are silently corrected to actual statement values and variance is recomputed per transaction.
The date window is chosen inside DoorVault (this month, 3 months, 6 months, 12 months, YTD, all). The extension does not have any sync controls of its own.
You sign in to your portal yourself. DoorVault never sees or stores your PM username or password. The extension captures only the active browser session, only when you press Sync.
Pulled the wrong window? Re-mapped a property? Clean resync wipes the imported window and re-pulls from the portal, deduplicating against records you already have.
Every sync ends with a summary of records imported, updated, linked, and skipped. If the portal session expires the PM Portal Sync row in Settings tells you to reconnect, with no noisy alerts.
DoorVault does not keep your PM owner portal session alive in the background. Your PM password is never transmitted to DoorVault and never stored. The captured session is encrypted at rest, scoped to the property manager you connected, and used only to pull the data window you asked for. You can disconnect at any time from Settings.
Open the Chrome Web Store listing and add DoorVault Connect. The extension pins to your toolbar and stays dormant until DoorVault calls it.
In another tab, log in to Buildium, RentManager, or AppFolio the way you always do. Stay signed in so the session is ready when DoorVault asks for it.
In DoorVault, head to Settings, then Integrations, then PM Portal Sync. Add your property manager, pick the platform, and select the date window you want imported.
DoorVault asks the extension to hand over the current portal session and starts the import. The first run is the largest; subsequent syncs only pull what's new.
Install DoorVault Connect, sign in to your PM portal, and run your first sync in under five minutes.
